Pat Russell, of Papyrus Consulting, has had over twenty years experience of creating successful, innovative, and cutting-edge non-profit programs. Ms. Russell has considerable experience with fundraising, strategic planning, outreach, and budget development. Programs that she has developed include the Harriet Tubman Institute of Black Studies, Inc., in Anchorage, AK, the statewide Foodstamp Outreach Project in conjunction with Fremont Public Association and the Washington State Departments of Development and Social & Health Services, The Health Access Volunteer Experience with the Central Area Motivation Program and The Seattle King County Department of Public Health, and the Work Experience Student Program for TANF recipients at Seattle Goodwill.
Ms. Russell's familiarity with fundraising and development includes grant writing, special events, and grassroots lobbying efforts. She has created successful collaborations and partnerships with community based organizations, corporations such as Starbucks, Safeco, Bank of America, and Boeing, as well as government agencies.
Ms. Russell is the author of three plays surrounding issues of community inclusion, gender and racism. She developed the Welfare Simulation used by Fair Budget Action Campaign and has developed customized managerial training programs such as Budgeting 101 for Program Managers, Staff Evaluations, and others.
